The Wireless Age – Its Meaning For Learning and Schools by author Judy Breck launches her book March 2001 – This book demonstrates how anyone can unlock a goldmine of educational resources on the World Wide Web to learn and teach in stunning new ways. Judy Breck believes "We don’t fix the schools- we save the kids."

Published by Scarecrow Press, the book is both a theoretical explanation of the growth of cyberspace and a practical exploration of the tools available there. Cutting through the usual technical jargon, author Judy Breck demonstrates how anyone can use the Internet for education. "I believe that the wireless age is already ending the "Digital Divide" that separates users with access to the Internet from non-users," says Breck. "Every child will soon learn via wireless tablets. My book shows educators how and where to look." For four years, Judy Breck has led a team of scholars at Homework Central, now part of bigchalk.com. The group she heads, as bigchalk’s Director of Academic Content, has researched and established more than 35,000 study topics, each linked to several pages of online knowledge. Students can tour the museums of Europe, and then connect with a researcher in Egypt. The barriers of distance disappear in the digital study environment. Breck points out that, "most human knowledge has already migrated on to the Internet, and much of the freshest material, like human genome breakthroughs, is only there." She is a visionary and pioneer of methods for opening the new world of Internet knowledge to everyone.
