( www.CrossTecCorp.com) has announced the release of feature-rich NetOp School® 2.0, which puts teachers and corporate trainers center stage in networked classrooms or Internet-based virtual classrooms. This newest generation of classroom management software developed by Danware Data A/S in Copenhagen, Denmark, facilitates seamless transitions, from teaching to groups to interactive one-on-one instruction, and ensures that the teacher is in full control of classroom technology at all times.

With NetOp School v2.0 students located across campus or anywhere in the world can log into a virtual classroom via an Intranet or Internet server. Other new features of NetOp School v2.0 include:

1) audio chat;

2) enhanced mapping and viewing of classroom layouts;

3) teacher-friendly automation for distributing and collecting files such as assignments and tests;

4) click-of-the-mouse thumbnail views of all student screens simultaneously;

5) class wide calls to attention;

6) easy-to-use class wide application launches;

7) drag-and-drop file manager, with time-saving features such as directory cloning, data synchronization, crash recovery, and delta-file transfers that copy only the most recent file changes.

These new features are added to NetOp School’s teacher-friendly toolset, that lets instructors maximize the potential of network and Internet technology for instruction. With NetOp School, a teacher can broadcast his or her screen, or the screen of another student to participants; mark up the featured screen to highlight a lesson; watch students as they work on their own computers in real-time; carry on bi-directional text or audio conversations and lectures; or remote control a student for one-on-one instruction.
