iTALC Rete didattica open source

iTALC (Intelligent Teaching And Learning with Computers) è un software per la gestione di aule didattiche che consente a docenti e a formatori di interagire con i propri discenti a livello individuale, di gruppo o di intera aula. Dalla postazione docente è possibile, ad esempio: mostrare il proprio schermo su quello dei client; visualizzare gli schermi degli studenti in tempo reale; controllare da remoto il monitor, la tastiera e il mouse di qualsiasi computer presente nell’aula e altre utili funzioni. Finora, le reti didattiche erano disponibili solo in ambienti Windows, con licenze proprietarie se non addirittura con hardware dedicato.

iTALK è multi-piattaforma, e può essere eseguito su Linux, su Windows 2000/XP/Vista, in reti omogenee (stesso sistema operativo) ed eterogenee (con sistemi operativi diversi), consentendo di controllare computer Linux con Windows e viceversa.
